Y2K: May I enter 2 digit years, or do I need to enter 4 digit years?
Q: May I enter 2 digit years, or do I need to enter 4 digit years?

A: You may enter either 2 digit or 4 digit years. If only a 2 digit year is keyed, the program automatically defaults to the current century. For example:

Before January 1, 2000,
"99" is converted to "1999"
"00" is converted to "1900"

On or after January 1, 2000,
"99" is converted to "2099"
"00" is converted to "2000"
